Usability testing ...
De-risk usability of desktop application and prioritize remaining development time prior to product release.

Located in Ottawa, Canada, SIPquest develops industry leading SIP server modules, application components, and applications for companies who want to strengthen their IP telephony and VoIP offerings.

Their multi-functional collaboration agent application marks a major step forward in communications richness and productivity. By providing soft phone and multi-media agent capabilities to the desktop, Enterprise users can choose the most effective method of communication, or add and change media on the fly.

Our brief was to help ensure the application was easy to use, a critical factor to the success of the product. We started by evaluating the application and its users' needs, and then identified opportunities to strengthen and enhance the user experience. For example, to enhance usability we recommended reducing the notification intrusiveness of the application and providing a dedicated communications management area that would give an overview of on-going communications and actions.

"Design Interpretive was able to work closely with our team, in a very timely manner, to provide us with excellent recommendations that enhanced the ease of use of the collaboration agent." Helene Joncas, V.P. Marketing and Business Development
