Design Interpretive teams with Natural Convergence to create a compelling, easy-to-use interface to accelerate market adoption.

Natural Convergence Inc. develops and markets hosted broadband communications software for service providers, enabling them to rapidly address the underserved small business market with compelling, cost effective and profitable voice applications. They spotted a market opportunity for a user-friendly IP telephony solution and approached DI for help with the design.

Natural Convergence wanted to be leaders in simplicity. The design had to be simple for inexperienced users to configure, manage and make ongoing changes to their phone system. We implemented an end-to-end design process that involved interviewing customers to evaluate the initial product value proposition, creating conceptual illustrations and delivering the final GUI design for their web application.

The finished product could be quickly configured so the users could extract all the value of the features, and make changes to suit the specific requirements of their business. The user-friendly nature of the design has enabled NCI to enlist carriers who are very concerned about ongoing maintenance costs to take the product.
