Vince Somoza brings over 15 years of industrial design experience to Design Interpretive. Vince has developed a wide range of highly successful telecommunications, consumer, medical, and sports products. He holds numerous patents in user interface, industrial, and mechanical design. Vince has won awards for teaming and innovation, as well as three IDSA awards for excellence in industrial design.

Vince graduated with honours from the Ontario College of Art & Design in 1986, and was hired immediately into the Arnott Design Group in Toronto. On the cutting edge of design technology, Vince was one of the first users of Alias Wavefront’s Studio software. After a decade and a half of product application experience, he is known as an expert user offering user-group leadership in the Toronto and Ottawa areas. Prior to joining Design Interpretive, Vince was the industrial design architect responsible for the look, feel & function of Nortel Networks’ infrastructure equipment.
